Historic Moment for Irvine’s Future

The Irvine City Council unanimously voted at its January 13 meeting to support the Economic Development Division Blueprint and approved the creation of the Irvine Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship—a game-changing initiative that will position the city as a premier destination for startups, investors, and innovators.

Greater Irvine Chamber President & CEO Dave Coffaro presented at the Council meeting on the Chamber’s role in this groundbreaking partnership with the City of Irvine. Together, the Chamber and the City are building the infrastructure entrepreneurs need to succeed—from mentorship and capital connections to co-working spaces and real-world resources. The Center will serve as a regional innovation hub: a place where founders connect with investors and emerging ventures gain access to the support they need to grow and scale.

The Greater Irvine Chamber is committed to serving as a key partner in bringing this vision to life. Through business advocacy, workforce development, founder networks, and growth-focused programming, the Chamber continues to champion Irvine’s innovation-driven future.
