Krauss is the president and chief executive officer of Terran Orbital, a leading aerospace and defense company specializing in satellite manufacturing. He joined the company as chief operating officer in June 2024 and was appointed CEO in 2024, following the acquisition of Terran Orbital by Lockheed Martin. In his role, Krauss oversees all business operations and drives the strategic implementation of initiatives that align with the company’s long-term vision and objectives.
With nearly thirty years of experience as a senior executive in sales, marketing, and operations, Krauss has a proven track record of driving transformative growth and profitability across diverse industries. His leadership background includes serving as president and CEO for multiple companies, where he demonstrated an exceptional ability to architect complex technical businesses and successfully scale operations.
An accomplished leader in mergers and acquisitions, he has successfully executed numerous profitable transactions and has built and managed sophisticated global manufacturing and distribution networks throughout the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Hungary, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan.
As a strategic thinker and hands-on leader, Krauss excels at team building, mentoring, and fostering effective communication. He is also a skilled problem solver and change agent dedicated to enhancing customer and employee experiences while optimizing operational efficiency and financial performance.
