The Greater Irvine Chamber, in collaboration with the City of Irvine, will host a FREE Outsmart Disaster: Business Disaster Preparedness workshop on Thursday, April 9, at the Greater Irvine Chamber, 36 Executive Park, Suite 100, in Irvine.
Designed to help business owners and managers strengthen their resilience before a disruption occurs, this practical workshop provides step-by-step guidance on how to prepare for emergencies and ensure business continuity. Participants will learn how to safeguard employees, protect assets, and maintain operations in the face of unexpected events.
The program will be led by Outsmart Disaster Certified Trainers Tom Tracy, education development volunteer with the Greater Irvine Chamber, and Dave Coffaro, president & CEO of the Greater Irvine Chamber.
Attendees will work through key disaster preparedness concepts using a comprehensive workbook and guided planning exercises designed to help businesses build their own preparedness strategy. Participants will also complete a series of planning forms covering critical areas of emergency readiness.
Upon completion of the workshop, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their commitment to strengthening their organization’s preparedness and resilience.
