Cultural & Ethnic Chambers
and Associations Coalition
The Greater Irvine Chamber convenes a coalition of approximately 20 cultural and ethnic chambers and business associations representing a diverse cross-section of Orange County’s business community. This group meets monthly to strengthen collaboration, align resources, and expand economic opportunity for small businesses—particularly those within immigrant and underrepresented communities.
The coalition serves as a strategic platform for connection, communication, and coordination between community-based business organizations, the Greater Irvine Chamber, and key public- and private-sector partners.
Through this forum, participating organizations work collectively to:
- Enhance international business connectivity, positioning Irvine and Orange County as a more competitive and welcoming destination for global commerce
- Support small business growth, recognizing that the majority of local businesses are small and require practical, accessible pathways to scale
- Improve access to resources, including funding, permitting guidance, and multilingual communications
- Strengthen alignment with public-sector initiatives, including City of Irvine programs, economic development strategies, and legislative advocacy efforts
- Address barriers to entry and growth, particularly for immigrant- and minority-owned businesses
The coalition also serves as a trusted distribution network, enabling timely and accurate communication of public information—including policy updates, regulatory changes, and community resources—across diverse audiences and languages.
By aligning the collective reach and influence of its members, the Cultural & Ethnic Chambers and Associations Coalition plays a critical role in advancing inclusive economic growth, strengthening Irvine’s global position, and supporting the long-term success of the regional business community.
