The Greater Irvine Chamber is launching the Member Seminars Program—a new educational series designed to help members strengthen their businesses, expand their skills, and learn directly from the expertise within Orange County’s largest business community.
This new initiative creates value in two meaningful ways:
For Attendees:
Gain practical, actionable insights from trusted business leaders on timely topics that help improve business performance, leadership effectiveness, and professional growth. These seminars are designed to be interactive, relevant, and immediately useful—combining expert instruction, peer discussion, and relationship-building opportunities.
For Presenters:
The Member Seminars Program creates a valuable leadership development opportunity for members to share their expertise, elevate their professional profile, and build credibility as thought leaders within the business community. Presenting is an opportunity to educate fellow members, contribute meaningful value, and increase visibility for your business through authentic expertise.
Members interested in presenting are invited to submit a seminar proposal for review by the Greater Irvine Chamber’s Member Engagement Committee, which evaluates topics based on educational value, business relevance, and benefit to the membership.
Seminar Format:
Each Member Seminar offers a structured, interactive learning experience featuring networking, an expert educational presentation, and audience Q&A.
Presentations are to be educational, focused on practical takeaways, business improvement, leadership development, or professional growth—not promotional selling. Select sessions may incorporate moderated roundtable discussion elements to encourage peer learning and collaborative problem-solving.
Member Seminar Launch:
The Member Seminars Program launches on Thursday, June 18, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m., at the Greater Irvine Chamber, 36 Executive Park, Suite 100, Irvine, with Cybersecurity on a Budget: 7 Things Every Small Business Must Do in 2026, presented by Behzad Faridnia, founder & chief innovator, OC Tech Innovations.
This seminar addresses a critical reality for small businesses, which are among the most frequently targeted—and often least protected—organizations facing today’s cybersecurity threats. Many business owners underestimate how vulnerable their operations may be, often carrying hidden risks without realizing it. This practical kickoff session is designed specifically for small businesses, offering realistic, budget-conscious strategies to strengthen protection without requiring major investments or technical expertise.
Attendees will walk away with:
- A free way to check if your email domain is being used to impersonate you right now
- The one change to your router that blocks cyberattacks before they reach a single device
- Why your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace backup doesn't exist — and what to do about it
- A password method your whole team will actually use
- A simple plan so that when something goes wrong, your business doesn't stop
The Greater Irvine Chamber’s Member Seminars Program reflects a commitment to creating more opportunities for member engagement, leadership development, peer learning, and meaningful business visibility through shared expertise.
