Associated With the Program Since its Inception, Danni Remington Smithson Will Serve as Master of Ceremonies for the 2025 Greater Irvine Chamber Women of Influence Event on March 13

Danni Remington Smithson, executive vice president and regional manager of California Bank of Commerce, Irvine Regional Office, will serve as master of ceremonies for the Greater Irvine Chamber’s 2025 Women of Influence on Thursday, March 13, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel, 4500 MacArthur Blvd., in Newport Beach.

A dynamic speaker and respected business leader in the community and her industry, Remington Smithson will share her perspective on “Leading Through a Different Lens,” the theme of the 2025 event.

“I’m honored and elated to return to the Women of Influence program for 2025 as master of ceremonies. This program captured my heart 12 years ago, and I am so proud of its continued success! There is truly nothing a determined group of women can’t conquer. The program’s core purpose continues to help women succeed in their careers and lives. “Leadership Through a Different Lens” resonates deeply with me and reinforces that we must always look to adjust our “Lens” in our paths forward,” Remington Smithson said. “My friend Charlene Reynolds, who is the director of John Wayne Airport, is a powerhouse and will deliver the keynote presentation at the 2025 event. I am honored to share the stage with her!”

Since the Chamber launched Women of Influence in 2014, Remington Smithson has served in various capacities for the program from planning committees to on-stage presentation roles.

During the 2025 program, Remington Smithson will moderate a panel of women who discuss finding success in leadership roles. With over 30 years of leadership experience in the commercial banking industry, including leading California Bank of Commerce’s Orange County Advisory Board and serving as a mentor and coach to young professionals in the industry, Remington Smithson can lend powerful insights to the discussion.

“I believe in the power of authentic leadership and strive to inspire others through mentoring, championing women business owners, and sharing my journey of conquering the banking world,” she said.

Remington Smithson also plays leadership roles in causes close to her heart, including fundraising for the Walk to End Alzheimer's, hosting Executive Leadership Roundtables, and showcasing one-of-a-kind businesswomen at Risk Management Association - Orange County events.
“My goal is to create a legacy of leading by example, making a difference, empowering others, and nurturing genuine connections,” she said.
