Two well-respected Orange County business leaders and dynamic speakers, Charles Antis and Jessica Welch, IOM, ACE, will present awards to 40 next-generation professionals during the Greater Irvine Chamber 40 Under 40 awards event Thursday, Sept. 21, 5 - 8 p.m., at the Westin South Coast Plaza, 686 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa.
Charles Antis, founder & CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, returns for a fourth time to present 40 Under 40 awards. His first time participating as an award presenter was during the Chamber’s inaugural event in 2019. The event was held virtually in 2020. Antis is highly engaged in community causes sitting on Boards of Directors for the National Roofing Contractors Association, Boys & Girls Club of Central Orange Coast, and Orange County Ronald McDonald House Habitat for Humanity of Orange County to which his company has donated roof installation for every home built by Habitat OC since 2009. In 2014, Habitat OC awarded him Volunteer of the Year. Antis was honored with the 2019 American Red Cross Orange County Chapter, Corporate Hero Award Under his leadership, Antis Roofing & Waterproofing was the Greater Irvine Chamber 2018 Business of the Year.
Delivering a lively and professional brand of stage presence, Jessica Welch, executive vice president of the Greater Irvine Chamber and executive director of the Irvine Forward Foundation, has presented in various capacities at numerous Greater Irvine Chamber signature events including Women of Influence, Distinguished Educators, and Celebrate Irvine. Welch serves on the boards of the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE). She teaches at the WACE Academy for chamber professionals and is a past recipient of the WACE Gerald W. Hathaway Award, and Accredited Chamber of Commerce Execitves 40 Under 40 award. In 2022 Welch was invited to participate in CHIEF, a private membership network focused on connecting and supporting women executive leaders. She is an Accredited Chamber Executive, and is a graduate from the U.S. Chamber’s West Institute for Organization Management.

Nominations and self-nominations for 40 Under 40 close Wednesday, July 19, at 5 p.m.
Earlybird registration for individual 40 Under 40 tickets through Aug. 31 are $175 for Greater Irvine Chamber members and $250 for non-members. Beginning Sept. 1, tickets prices are $200 and $325, respectively.
