City of Hope Orange County is the presenting sponsor for the Greater Irvine Chamber 2024 Women of Influence event to be held on Thursday, March 14, 11:00 a.m. - 2 p.m., at Irvine Marriott Hotel, 18000 Von Karman Ave.
“Orange County is home to so many remarkable and accomplished women whose contributions are making a profound impact on our community, including the dedicated physician-scientists and leaders at City of Hope Orange County,” said Annette Walker, president, City of Hope Orange County. “We are honored to partner with the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce to celebrate this year’s Women of Influence.”
City of Hope is Orange County’s most advanced cancer care. As one of the largest cancer research and treatment organizations in the United States and a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, City of Hope brings to Orange County programs and services previously unavailable. City of Hope Orange County’s cancer care network includes City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center in Irvine — the most advanced comprehensive cancer center in Orange County – and regional clinics in Huntington Beach, Irvine and Newport Beach. City of Hope is also building Orange County’s only specialty cancer hospital, opening in 2025.
Patients have access to City of Hope’s more than 600 physicians and 1,000 researchers and scientists solely dedicated to treating and curing cancer and access to more than 800 clinical trials each year – the most cancer-focused clinical trials in California. City of Hope’s discoveries impact 100 million people around the world each year — and each new discovery brings more hope to people with cancer and their families.
City of Hope’s cancer center, regional clinics, and planned hospital will create Orange County’s largest network dedicated exclusively to cancer treatment and cures.
City of Hope Orange County is the diamond-level Leaders Circle partner of the Greater Irvine Chamber.
