City of Hope Orange County Presents Greater Irvine Chamber June 5 Celebrate Irvine Event

City of Hope Orange County is the presenting sponsor for the Greater Irvine Chamber 2025 Celebrate Irvine event on Thursday, June 5, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., at the Irvine Marriott, 18000 Von Karman Ave.

“City of Hope Orange County is pleased to partner with Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce to present Celebrate Irvine, which recognizes the people and businesses that make this city so special,” said Annette Walker, President, City of Hope Orange County. “As Orange County’s most advanced cancer care, City of Hope Orange County is grateful to call Irvine home to our comprehensive cancer center and soon, Orange County’s only specialty cancer hospital.”

City of Hope Orange County is part of one of the largest and most advanced cancer research and treatment organizations in the United States and ranked among the top five for cancer care in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. City of Hope Orange County includes an academic cancer campus in Irvine and a network of clinical locations across the region.

This year, City of Hope will open Orange County’s only cancer specialty hospital, transforming cancer care and fulfilling its promise to bring more lifesaving cancer care closer to home. This bold initiative completes the most advanced, integrated cancer care network in the area—delivering more cancer-focused expertise from cancer sub-specialists, leading-edge prevention and screening, access to more cancer-focused clinical trials than anywhere in California, and groundbreaking treatments and long-term support—all for the single purpose of saving lives.

Seamlessly connected to City of Hope Orange County Lennar Foundation Cancer Center, the cancer specialty hospital completes the continuum of cancer care – from prevention through survivorship. Patients will benefit from the full power of innovation and groundbreaking technology —from CAR T-cell therapy and transplants to complex surgeries performed by world-renowned experts, advanced immunotherapies, and novel clinical trials. Now, no one has to leave the region to benefit from tomorrow’s cancer breakthroughs today.
