Two well-respected Orange County business leaders and dynamic speakers, Charles Antis and Carrie Freitas, will present awards to 40 next-generation professionals during the Greater Irvine Chamber 40 Under 40 awards event on Thursday, Sept. 19, 5 - 8 p.m., at the Irvine Marriott, 1800 Von Karman Ave.
Through its 40 Under 40 awards program, the Greater Irvine Chamber recognizes next-generation business and community leaders making strides in their industries and the Orange County community.
A crowd favorite, Charles Antis, founder & CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, returns to present 40 Under 40 awards. His first time participating as an award presenter was during the Chamber’s inaugural event in 2019. The event was held virtually in 2020. Antis is highly engaged in community causes, sitting on Boards of Directors for the National Roofing Contractors Association, Orange County Ronald McDonald House Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, to which his company has donated roof installation for every home built by Habitat OC since 2009. In 2014, Habitat OC awarded him Volunteer of the Year. Antis was honored with the 2019 American Red Cross Orange County Chapter Corporate Hero Award and in 2022 Philanthropist of the Year by the Greater Irvine Chamber.
Carrie Freitas, founder & principal of Kitchen Table Marketing + PR, will join Antis this year in presenting 40 Under 40 awards. Freitas is a 34+ year PR & Marketing veteran who earned her stripes at large international public relations firms, including Golin, Edelman, Manning Selvage + Lee, and GCI Group/Gray Advertising. There, she earned a stellar reputation for her strategic approach, exceptional writing, and media relations, which she leveraged for clients including Nintendo, Microsoft, Ford Motor Company, Pepsi, Target Stores, Pizza Hut, and Nestlé. She founded Kitchen Table Marketing in 2010. Carrie lends strategic and creative muscle to all accounts and is passionate about giving back to her community. She hails from a family of newspaper publishers, journalists, and marketing executives.
