Professionals who sell to businesses build relationships, develop referrals, and identify opportunities differently than those primarily serving consumers directly. To provide a dedicated environment for those connections, the Greater Irvine Chamber is launching a new Business-to-Business (B2B) Leads Group that brings together established professionals who serve business owners, executives, nonprofits, and organizations throughout Irvine and Orange County.
The new group expands the Greater Irvine Chamber's established Leads Group program, where members build trusted relationships with professionals who understand their businesses, ideal clients, and capabilities—and can make informed, qualified referrals when opportunities arise. Greater Irvine Chamber Leads Groups generated $46 million in closed business in 2025, demonstrating the potential of relationships built through consistent participation and trusted referrals.
With its specific B2B focus, the new group will connect professionals whose networks and services are complementary, creating opportunities for qualified referrals, strategic introductions, cross-referrals, and partnerships. Members will gain a deeper understanding of one another's ideal clients and expertise, making it easier to recognize opportunities and confidently connect colleagues, clients, and business contacts with trusted resources.
The group will also provide members with opportunities to strengthen their professional visibility, develop one-to-one relationships, and become trusted resources for fellow members and their clients. Consistent participation and a commitment to helping other members succeed will be central to the group's culture.
Leads Group B2B will meet on the first and third Thursday of each month, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., with the first meeting date to be announced.
Participation will be limited by professional category to minimize direct competition and create a diverse network of complementary businesses. Ideal participants are established professionals with strong business networks and reputations who are committed to developing long-term referral relationships and actively generating opportunities for fellow members.
Participants must be active Greater Irvine Chamber members and complete the Leads Group application and approval process:
- Submit a Leads Group application.
- Complete an interview with the Membership Committee.
- Complete the required orientation.
The Greater Irvine Chamber will verify membership, confirm the availability of the professional category, and complete the approval process before participation begins.
As a newly forming group, early participants will have an additional opportunity to help establish its culture, expectations, meeting structure, and approach to developing high-quality B2B referral relationships.
Professionals interested in learning more about Leads Group B2B or available professional categories are encouraged to contact founding member Joe Alvares at jalvarez@cscmgr.com. Because participation is limited by professional category, early inquiries are encouraged.
