With deep gratitude, the Greater Irvine Chamber congratulates Jessica Welch as she concludes a 17-year career with the Greater Irvine Chamber to assume a leadership role at a local non-profit organization.
Welch began her work with the Greater Irvine Chamber in 2007 as executive assistant to the president & CEO and rose through the ranks in her responsibilities and impact. Jessica also served as executive director of the Irvine Forward Foundation, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting educational achievement and economic development in Irvine through scholarships and community engagement.
“Jessica has played an integral role with the Chamber over the past 17 years, which makes her farewell bittersweet. Over time, Jessica’s role evolved, as she deftly embraced each new responsibility. Her contributions have helped make the Chamber what it is today,” said Dave Coffaro, interim president & CEO, Greater Irvine Chamber.
At the Greater Irvine Chamber, Welch oversaw investor relations, membership services, events, and board development. In 2018, she spearheaded a campaign by the Greater Irvine Chamber earning it a 5-star accreditation by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce—a designation that less than 2% of chambers in the country hold. In 2019, Welch was honored with the Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE) Gerald W. Hathaway award and the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives 40 Under 40 award. She served on the WACE Board of Directors and Foundation, and the WACE Academy Steering Committee.
