Laura Perdew, ACE, IOM, vice president, communications & member relations at the Greater Irvine Chamber, celebrates 10 years of service supporting the organization, its members, and the Irvine business community.
“Laura has played an important role in shaping how the Chamber communicates its mission, programs, and impact,” said Dave Coffaro, president & CEO of the Greater Irvine Chamber. “Her leadership and strategic approach to communications have helped elevate the Chamber’s voice and strengthen its brand.”
As vice president, communications & member relations, Perdew oversees the Chamber’s communications strategy, brand management, and marketing initiatives. She leads an award-winning communications team responsible for campaigns, publications, digital content, and media outreach supporting the Chamber’s programs and events.
During her tenure, the Chamber’s communications program has received multiple honors from the Western Association of Chamber Executives, including Overall Communications Program of the Year. Perdew has also led efforts to reshape the organization’s communications portfolio and managed the Chamber’s brand, including a rebrand and renaming of the organization.
She also served on the team that prepared benchmark data leading to the Chamber’s 5-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the highest designation awarded to chambers nationwide.
Perdew holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees, in communications and public relations from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and in theatre and dance from California State University, Fullerton. She also holds the Accredited Chamber Executive (ACE) designation and completed the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management program, earning the IOM designation.
