Meet the 2025 Celebrate Irvine honorees:

EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR - Kathy Azeez-Narain
Kathy Azeez-Narain is the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer at Hoag, where she leads the health system’s digital transformation and strategic marketing initiatives. In this role, she is advancing Hoag’s position as a national leader in digitally enabled, patient-centered care—integrating technology, data, and design to improve access, experience, and health outcomes. With more than 20 years of experience across healthcare and financial services, Azeez-Narain spent 15 years at American Express, where she led digital product innovation and marketing strategy. She is widely recognized for translating bold vision into meaningful change and for championing innovation that improves lives, empowers teams, and redefines what’s possible.

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR - Peter Cline
Peter Cline is a U.S. Army veteran and founder of Service to Success, a recruiting and technology firm that helps leading employers—from Fortune 500 companies to federal agencies—connect with and hire talent from the military community. In addition to his work at Service to Success, Cline founded Boots to Books, a nonprofit that has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships and supported over 15,000 veterans and their families in pursuing education and employment. His efforts earned him the Lifetime Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Before launching his ventures, Cline worked in mergers and acquisitions, completing hundreds of millions in transactions, including the carveout of FindLaw from its parent company, Thomson Reuters. Today, he draws on his finance and entrepreneurial background to serve the broader community—as a member of the Investment Committee for RevHub, a volunteer commercialization funding reviewer with UC Irvine, a mentor with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship, and an advisor on various municipal and nonprofit boards.
