Nominations for the 2023 Greater Irvine Chamber 40 Under 40 awards are open now through Wednesday, July 19, at 5 p.m.
Through its 40 Under 40 awards program, the Greater Irvine Chamber recognizes professionals under the age of 40 who are making strides in their industries and the Orange County community. Forty individuals selected from the nominees will be formally recognized during the 40 Under 40 awards event and reception held on Thursday, Sept. 21, 5 – 8 p.m., at the Westin South Coast Plaza, 686 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa.
Eligible 40 Under 40 nominees must:
- Be an employee of an active business located or operating in Orange County
- Be 39 years of age or younger on Dec. 31, 2023
- Demonstrate leadership skills and initiative
- Have demonstrated integrity
The application submission should include a brief description of how the following criteria apply to the individual:
- Innovative and effective practices this individual brings to their organization
- Ways this individual has grown professionally
- How this individual made a positive impact in their industry
- Charitable organizations, youth programs, education, volunteer opportunities, etc., to which this individual contributes their time or expertise
There is no limit on the number of nominations and self-nominations accepted. The selection of honorees is made on merit, not by the volume of submissions for an individual nominee.
Individual tickets for the 40 Under 40 awards program and reception are $175 for Greater Irvine Chamber members and $250 for non-members. *Multiple individual ticket purchases cannot be guaranteed to sit together. Requests honored pending availability. Sponsorships and table reservations are also available for purchase.
