Waymakers, a nonprofit organization that has provided counseling, education, shelter, conflict resolution and support services to struggling Orange County children and families for more than 50 years, has appointed Suzy Elliott of Elliott Leadership Coaching to its board of directors. With an extensive coaching background, Suzy Elliott will further advance Waymakers’ mission in empowering youth and families toward a more resilient future.

Currently serving as owner of Elliott Leadership Coaching in Southern California, Elliott coaches individuals seeking to establish personal or professional goals through a personalized roadmap by utilizing the MHS EQ-i 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Assessment tool, which measures decision-making, stress management, self-perception, self-expression and interpersonal relationships. After beginning her career in Human Resources, she fostered a passion for uplifting individuals through positive reinforcement and appreciative encouragement.
Along with her career advancements, Suzy received a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University and is a graduate of The College of Executive Coaching, where she became a designated Certified Professional Coach (CPC). She is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and National Human Resources Association (NHRA) – Orange County Chapter.
