Anne Beiler, the founder of Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, is an entrepreneur whose story resonates with people worldwide. Her business success was not without its share of personal tragedies, including the loss of her 19-month-old daughter and the near loss of her husband, family, and faith. However, it was out of this adversity that she found her purpose and the drive to succeed both personally and professionally.
As a special guest speaker at the Greater Irvine Chamber 40 Under 40 awards event on Thursday, Sept. 19, Beiler will share her story and how she grew a single farmer's market stand into Auntie Anne's®, the world's largest hand-rolled soft pretzel franchise.
Anne's personal story and entrepreneurial insights are featured on many television shows, including ABC's Secret Millionaire and Good Morning America. She has been featured in numerous publications, such as Fortune Magazine and Inc. Magazine. In 2005, Anne sold Auntie Anne's® to establish a community center in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She has authored three books: Twist of Faith, The Secret Lies Within, and Overcome and Lead. Today, she continues to inspire audiences globally with her story of triumph over adversity.
Two well-respected Orange County business leaders and dynamic speakers, Charles Antis, founder & CEO of Antis Roofing & Waterproofing, and Carrie Freitas, founder & principal of Kitchen Table Marketing + PR, will also be on stage at the 40 Under 40 awards event, where they will present awards to 40 next-generation professionals.
As part of the program, enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres during the Champagne reception, sponsored by WeShare Health Care by UHSM, and music by Entertainment Sponsor Vox DJs.
